Colourlock Nubuck Eraser Block

The Nubuck Eraser is a coarse eraser for encrusted dirt on suede leathers such as nubuck or velour leather.

Suede leathers (nubuck, velour and suede) are sanded or split leathers with a velvety surface. Suede leathers have open pores, and dirt adheres easily due to the velvety surface. The simplest way to clean them is by sanding, erasing and brushing out.

The various ways of cleaning nubuck and their gradations:

• Brushing out loose dirt with the Leather Cleaning Brush
• Large-area sanding of shiny or stained areas is best done with the Sanding Pad.
• Particularly fine nubuck leathers are very sensitive. Sanding with the least effect on local areas, whether negatively or positively, is done with the Nubuck Sponge.
• The Leather Polishing Pad 4000 lies between the Sanding Pad and the Nubuck Sponge. It is suitable for large areas where a coarse grit such as that of the sanding pad is too strong.
• For encrusted dirt, the Nubuck Eraser Block is the first choice.
• Suede leather clothing can be washed with the Leather Washing Detergent.

Unfortunately, the choice is not easy for non-experts because they lack experience. It is important to always test all products first in a concealed area. Some suede leathers become lighter through sanding, and then the stain acquires an even lighter halo.
