Cleaning and caring for embossed nubuck leather

What is embossed nubuck leather?
Nubuck leather is usually cowhide that has been lightly sanded on the grain side. For embossed nubuck leather, a dark grain pattern is additionally printed onto the nubuck. The result is two-tone leather: the light, raised areas are suede leather – soft, velvety and open-pore. The dark grain pattern is actually pigmented smooth leather, slightly glossier and sealed by the pigmentation.
Nevertheless, the whole leather is treated as suede leather because the more sensitive, open-pore surface sets the standard.

NOTE:
Unfortunately, suede leather is sensitive and will never be like new again after cleaning and care. However, with the recommended products you have everything that can be used without issue to treat this leather yourself.
