Trusted quality in a new design: You previously knew this product as Colourlock Aniline Cream. We have revised the item to provide you with even better service.

Description

Aniline leather is open-pore smooth leather. Such leather is wonderfully warm and natural, but more sensitive than surface-dyed smooth leather. Aniline leather is not always the same. Some leather has a fine grain and is pre-waterproofed; other leather is more coarse-pored and absorbs every liquid immediately.

Aniline Cream can also be used for greased or oiled leather. Here, too, there are variations. Some greased or oiled leathers are very matt and coarse-textured; others are fine-grained, softer and silky matt. Aniline Cream is the first choice for silky-matt leather, and Elephant Leather Preserver for matt and coarse greased leather.

Application

Please read the notes below carefully before every application!

Ensure that the surfaces have been cleaned beforehand and are clean. Use our Aniline and Nubuck Cleaner or Leather Fixative for this purpose.

For application, lightly moisten a soft, lint-free cloth with Aniline Cream and work it evenly into the leather from seam to seam using circular movements.

Then allow the product to absorb for approximately 10 minutes and repeat the procedure if necessary.

For new aniline leather, it is advisable to treat heavily used areas several times during the initial treatment in order to prevent stains and discolouration from the outset.

After care, gently warm the surface with a hairdryer – this further enhances the protective effect.

Heavily used surfaces should be treated again every three months, while an interval of 6 to 12 months is sufficient for less used areas.

Notes

  • Always first test the product in a concealed area for changes.
  • Never apply the product directly to the leather; always apply it to the cloth or sponge first.
  • Protect from frost and heat (+40 °C)
