Description
Shiny, film-coated split leathers are also known as PU leather, Bycast leather, Fräsig leather or pull-up leather. They are characterised by their sheen and colonial-style vintage appearance. The film on the leather reacts to oily care products and therefore requires a product optimally matched for cleaning and care. PU Protector has the necessary properties to clean and care for PU leather correctly.
The same look is also available in artificial leather, for which PU Protector is likewise recommended. PU leather and artificial leather are used in furniture, bags and shoes.
150 ml PU Protector is sufficient to clean and care for a PU-leather furniture suite several times. The one-litre container is recommended for regular use on several suites.
Application
PU leather and the corresponding artificial leather should occasionally be dusted with a lint-free dry or only slightly damp cloth. Every 3 to 6 months, clean and care for the leather with PU Protector. Lightly moisten a lint-free, soft cloth with PU Protector and wipe from seam to seam with even moisture. Soiling is removed, light signs of use are evened out, the sheen is retained and the surface is protected.
Notes
Important!
- PU leather or PU artificial leather does not tolerate oily or greasy products or overly harsh cleaners. The material then becomes sticky and disintegrates.
- Clean and care regularly, especially in areas that come into contact with skin and hair. Skin and hair oils attack PU materials, causing them to dissolve and become sticky.
